Wai Wai City

Wai Wai City- Opens its doors in the city of joy.

Location & Intro:

This outlet of Wai Wai City is located near South City. (Right Opposite to it)

I had been invited here with couple of other bloggers. The place is cute and chic and the concept is modern. With a plethora of wok concepts entering the city of joy, this is also kind of “wai wai” wok concept. The concept is like choose your toppings and your favorite sauces and tell them what you want and don’t want in your box and they will prepare a wok box for you. Also, there are limited items apart from the main wok box which you can order separately. It started its first outlet from the niche area i.e. Delhi’s Haus Khas Village and slowly seems to expand over franchisees over India. It is more like a quick service restaurant, the noodle bar incorporated from the iconic noodle brand wai wai which we usually have it in our house as a savior when hunger strikes.+

What i tried:

Drinks:

I took the Spicy Mango and Tamarind Twist. I mean nothing really very extraordinary and this is where they can improve. It was just okay.

Food

Starters:

Chicken Momosa – The momosa were tasting great. The chicken pieces were quite in abundance inside the momosa. However, if you are not a person who like deep fried items, you can avoid this.

Zucchini Fries – The zucchini fries were quite nice. They were crunchy and soft at the same time. I really liked it.

Customised Wok Box:

To be very honest, it was not a very great experience. The chicken pieces were quite soggy and chewy which was quite a bit turn of and were smelling too. However, the noodles were fine.

Ice Cream:

Darsaan Ice Cream – The darsaan was quite nice and crunchy.

Price for two: 300-700 (Prices are subject to change due to macroeconomic factors such as inflation, etc.)

Pros:

• New concept of wai wai wok boxes.

• Ambiance is nice.

• Staffs are courteous.

Expert Suggestions:

• Some of the chairs are not at all good. Once you sit on them, you feel like that you might fall. So, i would give a humble suggestion to change them.

• The chicken pieces in the wok boxes were quite hard and chewy. This is not at all expected as such.

Conclusion:

My experience here at Wai Wai city was quite a mixed one. If there is one thing which i would say the best from wai wai city were the Zucchini fries. Nonetheless, hope they improve over time.
