Lip Smacking Experience in One Word.
Location & Intro:
This particular outlet of Red Bamboo Shoot Restaurant is located in Rajdanga Area, Kasba, Kolkata. I was invited here to try out their Chinese Starters as a part of Rakhi New Menu Launch. The Restaurant is located on the first floor and is somehow like a cosy chinese joint. It is not quite a big space but can easily accommodate 4-6 tables here.
What i tried:
Strawberry Mocktail – The Mocktail was excellent. It was well balanced and not over the top sweet which made me love it even more. It was fizzy too. #highlyrecommended
Starters
Thai Fish Fry – I totally loved this one and would recommend on this one. The Fish Fry pieces were perfectly sized and great to munch on. The batter was not too thick which made me relish it even more. #highlyrecommended
Crispy Chilli Baby Corn – The Baby Corn was just good to taste. It was not something very different but yeah, not bad too.
Bar B Q Chicken – The Bar B Q Chicken was great to taste. However, would have preferred it even more if it was served sizzling hot. Special mention would be the flavour of Barbq Sauce.
Chicken Lat Me Kai – I really loved the Lat Me Kai as well. It was well balanced and was to my liking. #recommended
Desserts
Darsaan with Ice Cream – The Darsaan tasted good as well. It is somehow a part of Indo-Chinese menu in most of the eateries in the city of joy. As perfect as it could be, it was sprinkled with sesame seeds on top and some chocolate sauce was added to enhance the flavour. Loved on this one too. Would have loved it even more with Vanilla Ice Cream. #recommended
